Hurricane Harvey Relief

Louisiana Land Bank stockholders in south Louisiana were able to receive hay bales for their livestock last week by a generous donation (3 semi-truck loads) from Kovac Cattle Company in Oak Grove, La. Louisiana Land Bank was instrumental in coordinating the hay bale delivery and also provided funds to cover the trucking fee expense.

LLB stockholder, Doug Schultz from Bell City, La. allowed the hay bales to be unloaded on his property. Local stockholders from the surrounding parishes were able to take advantage of this substantial donation.

Louisiana Land Bank CEO Stephen Austin would like to give a special thanks to Cullen Kovac, LLB board member for his donation, Doug Schultz, LLB stockholder for allowing the bales to be delivered to his property, the LLB Crowley branch lenders, Barry Fontenot, VP/Branch Manager and Jacob Nugier, Loan Officer Associate, Monroe VP/Branch Manager, Jay Byram and to everyone who participated to help make this happen.

If any other LLB stockholder has hay to donate or spare, please contact the Crowley branch office at 337-783-0466 for further details.
